Our client is an innovative world leader in the seed coatings industry.  Due to their consistent growth we are seeking a Customer Service Team Leader for our Client’s Integrated Coating and Seed Technology business for their Salinas, CA manufacturing facility.  Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for:
  • Supervision the Customer Service Team consisting of a Customer Service Rep and Productions Scheduler
  • Setting objectives, addressing and monitoring performance, coaching, training, identifying and implementing ways to improve customer service performance
  • Coordinating the activities of all departments including Production, QC, Warehouse, Accounts, Sales, to insure the order fulfillment process is coordinated
  • Ensure all orders are entered into the system and are progressing in a timely fashion
  • Identify solutions and corrective action in the event of product availability issues  
  • Ensure customers are serviced in a polite and timely fashion in regards to credit or account issues, order delays, or any other changes in the timing of their orders
  • Field customer complaints, investigate and provide solutions to prevent future occurrences in the customer service operation
  • Review procedures for customer service operations with an eye toward continuous improvement
  • Associates or Bachelor Degree or High School Diploma with equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years customer service experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Employee supervision experience preferred
  • Ability to learn SAP and Movex is required
