Exciting, growing animal nutrition company seeks a Dairy Nutritionist to provide support to Dairy Feed Sales Reps in a 3 state area. This position will have a direct impact on the company's growth and is a high profile opportunity. Travel in the 3 state area should encompass 50% of your time.

Successful candidates will enjoy and have experience solving problems on the farm and will understand the sales process so they can effectively assist the sales reps.

This person will office in their home and be located in Ohio, Michigan or western Pennsylvania. This position requires a BS degree (or above) in dairy science, animal science or a related field and a history of success in sales or sales support. The compensation for this position is appropriate for position and the expertise of the person recruited.

To be considered for this role you must have

5 years experience working as a dairy nutritionist in the field working with producers
Expertise in ration balancing
Strong nutritional skills and excellent on-farm problem-solving skills
A consultative sales approach and a history of maintaining long-term clients
Strong coaching skills
BS degree is dairy or animal science, MS degree in dairy science or ruminant nutrition preferred
The ability to work with sales reps to move the sales process forward
Willingness and ability to overnight travel a few nights each week.
