Skid Steer Operator – Hurricane Irma Response
Chloeta is recruiting to fill Skid Steer Operator positions statewide in Florida in response to Hurricane Irma.      
 
Duty Station: Statewide (Florida)
 
Minimum Requirements:
 
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Background check and drug test required
  • Proficient with technology such as email 
  • Highly reliable and able to function with limited oversight in a fast-paced environment
  • Three (3) years or more related experience operating skid steers or other heavy equipment on a routine basis
  • Be a U.S. Citizen
  • Clean driving record
 
Responsibilities
  • Represent Chloeta professionally at times
  • Maintain high situational awareness
  • Operate safely in adverse conditions various equipment, including skid steers, to remove and clear storm damage debris
  • Repair and maintain heavy equipment
  • Conduct field repairs as necessary
  • Travel between work sites safely with equipment on trailer in tow

Compensation and Work Schedule
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience, education and capability
  • Work shifts of up to 16 hrs/day should be expected, 7 days/wk
Travel Required
  • Yes, extensive travel statewide
  • All travel expenses paid
