This opportunity is for a
Service Parts Planner
on site at our client. As an employee of Productive Resources, you will manage the day- to-day performance and relationship of a group of suppliers for assigned commodities to support operations. Work with the Supply Base to drive continuous improvement in quality and delivery.
Schedule and expedite the delivery of purchased materials to support parts distribution requirements, including recommendations for premium logistic alternatives when appropriate.
Process supplier’s non-conformances and expedites corrective actions.
Work with the Supply Management Specialist/Buyer to maintain an ongoing relationship with assigned suppliers to monitor and improve supplier performance.
Measure the performance of the supplier and defines corrective actions.
May negotiate with suppliers to resolve short-term performance problems.
Support the Engineering Change Management (ECM) process so design changes and product improvements are implemented in a timely manner.
Coordinate and execute inventory plans using systems parameters and material replenishment strategies to achieve inventory/asset management and material flow goals.
Drive continuous improvement in terms of performance with the supply base, using Achieving Excellence process and criteria.
Resolve and eliminate shipping and receiving problems to ensure prompt and accurate payments to suppliers.

Understanding of Order Fulfillment Process. - Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution. - Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
Degree in a Business/Management discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
Degree in a Supply Management discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
Degree in an Accounting/Finance discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
Experience in specific areas of Supply Management such as: supplier integration, strategic supply management, supplier development, scheduling, forecasting, logistics, etc. May be position specific. - Less than 1 year
Work experience in a team environment. - Less than 1 year
