This opportunity is for a Specification Analyst I on site at our client. As an employee of Productive Resources, you will develop and maintain product specifications, engineering decisions, Common Specifications System, factory Bills of material and the drawing imaging system to ensure that complete and accurate specifications and drawings for less complex parts and assemblies are available to manufacturing and other information users. Work from an Engineering Change Order (ECO), ensuring that the data is accurate and conforms to the common specification guidelines.
  • Create and modify production level specifications in the factory data base using inputs from an Engineering Change Order (ECO) and sister factory decisions.
  • Organize, enter and maintain data for specific programs.
  • Communicate Engineering Change Decisions to production.
  • Prepare drawings for the decision process.
  • Create simple models of components or simple modifications to existing components and drawings.
  • May create 3D assemblies for new Bills of Material with support from senior designers or engineers.
  • Provide consultation services on standards, processes and related technical issues to identify, prevent or solve problems.
  • Work from system generated error reports, ensuring the data is in sync with other systems that interface with the common specification system.
  • Experience in Part Data Management (PDM) and cProjects workflow.
  • Experience in NetWeaver Business Client and ability to navigate in PDMLink.
  • Knowledge of the Product Delivery Process (PDP) and Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) programs.

  • Experience in Microsoft Excel in developing spreadsheets that include formulas, graphing tools and pivot tables. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook.
  • Extensive use of Microsoft Word.  
  • Analytical skills in problem solving situations.
  • Familiarity and use of SharePoint sites and file organization.
  • Experience with PDM/Spec Analysts, Product Design, Manufacturing or Quality Engineering.
Preferred Skills
  • SAP experience.
  • MS Office experience.
