Job Description
ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER

NORWALK, IOWA



DUTIES:

Responsible for compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
Responsible for continuous improvement in ISO 14001 certified EMS, Pollution Prevention, and community involvement.
Will be directing projects in order to achieve and maintain goals as related to plant environmental projects.
Conducts all environmental training and identifies training needs.
Tracks facilitys waste streams and administers waste programs.
Coordinates Fed, State and Local policies and documentation.
Air, water and Title V issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

4 year degree in Environmental Science.
3-5 yrs manufacturing plant experience.
Competent in Fed, State, Local EPA regulations and permits-Title V
Strong documentation skills.
Experience implementing/coordinating community involvement and improving corporate image.
Need someone that can focus eliminating waste and caring for our environment.
Must be a leader, motivator, coach, and trainer.
Must have great interpersonal skills.
Strong computer and presentation skills.
