DescriptionClient is located 100 Miles South of Des Moines, IA
Our client a wholly-owned subsidiary of Major Food Manufacture is America and the largest marketer of fresh shell eggs, delivering top quality products to retail, industrial and foodservice customers coast-to-coast. We are seeking a Complex Manager who is responsible for providing leadership to the entire operation which includes an egg processing plant, 900,000 laying hens, and a pullet rearing facility. Other responsibilities include employee safety and relations, quality, hen production and health, pullet growth, formulation, delivery, order scheduling, data analysis, customer relations, regulatory compliance, maintenance, productivity, scheduling, office management, and cost control.
Minimum 6 years in the shell egg industry including experience managing people! Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, excellent verbal communication skills, strong leadership, planning, problem solving as well; decision-making, and analytical skills. Bilingual skills in Spanish/English preferred.
Bachelors degree in Business, Animal Science, Engineering or related field is highly preferred not required!
Note This is a 7 day work week and Holidays This individual lives on the property (client company provides a house for the Complex manager and family to live in and limited expenses)
The Complex has 50 plus employees with 1st shift for production and 2nd shift for cleaning.
